Artists' Biographies

Artist

Jaffa Lam
Lam received her BFA, MFA and Postgraduate Diploma in Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is now teaching at the Hong Kong Art School. She has been involved in many public art and community projects in Hong Kong and overseas. Apart from solo exhibitions, Lam has been invited to take part in many local and international exhibitions, as well as artist residency programmes in Kenya, Taiwan, Bangladesh, China, United States and Canada, etc.

Cheung So Yi
Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Theatre and Entertainment Arts, Cheung is now working as a freelancer specialising in light art.

Steve Hui
Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master degree in Composition and Electronic Music in 2006 and 2010 respectively, Hui specialises in contemporary music, sound art, multimedia theatre and multidisciplinary art.

Lee Man Sang
Lee works as a sculptor for years, likes making musical instruments. Lee is keen on traditional music performance, collaborating with Hong Kong artists working in various media to create performance events.

Jason Wong
Wong is a set and video designer. He has worked with All Theatre Art Association, ieStudio and the Hong Kong Dance Company for a number of set and video designs.

Matthew Tsang
Tsang completed his BFA in 2008 and MFA in 2015, both with RMIT University, Australia. His works investigate the relationship between time and materiality in forms of installation, video and sculptural objects.

Vivian Fung
Fung received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Macquarie University in 1992 and graduated with a Higher Diploma of Fine Art from Hong Kong Art School and a Master of Visual Arts degree from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2016.

Ong Yong Lock
Active in dance production, Ong is the Founder and Artistic Director of Unlock Dancing Plaza who focuses on promoting and popularising modern dance.
