The original illustration for the cover of the Japanese edition of The Eagle-shooting Heroes by Lee Chi Ching

Lee Chi Ching’s illustrations were used on the covers and inside pages of Jin Yong’s novels that were published in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. According to Jin Yong, they were especially well received by Japanese readers, who even commented that the depiction of the characters was more appealing than that of in Japanese comics.
