Manuscripts of the New Edition of The Eagle-shooting Heroes (partial) (1)

In The Eagle-shooting Heroes, Huang Yaoshi expels all his disciples from Peach Blossom Island on discovering that the disciple close to his heart, Mei Chaofeng, has run away with Chen Xuanfeng. The original edition did not tell much about the relationship between Huang and Mei, so Jin Yong filled that in with almost 10,000 characters in the new revised edition to track the master’s hidden feelings for Mei.
