Governor Sir Frederick Lugard at opening ceremony of Kwong Wah Hospital
To meet the demand for medical services in Kowloon, the directors of the Tung Wah Hospital founded the Kwong Wah Hospital. The hospital was completed in 1911. This photograph shows Governor Sir Frederick Lugard, directors of Tung Wah, government officials and invited guests at the opening ceremony of the Kwong Wah Hospital.
