Tung Wah Smallpox Hospital
The Tung Wah Smallpox Hospital in Kennedy Town, inaugurated in 1910. Starting in the 1870s, smallpox plagued the streets of Hong Kong. Tung Wah Hospital established an anti-smallpox clinic and sent personnel to vaccinate Chinese people.
