Hyland Theatre was established in 1988 and is still in operation. The photo was taken in 1996. Fanling Theatre was established by Deacon Chiu Te Ken in 1959 and closed in 2010. The photo was taken in 1997. Yuen Long Cinema renovated into a 2-house mini theatre with 1,173 seats in 1990 and rebuilt again into a 3-house mini theatre with only 320 seats in 2007.
