Before retiring, Chung Wai Ming, who worked as a civil servant in RTHK from 1970 to 1991, was promoted from Programme Officer to Principal Programme Officer of Chinese Programme Services. The Chung Wai Ming 60 Years of Broadcasting celebration party was held at the Grand Stage Restaurant in Western Market at Sheung Wan.
