To complement the opening of 'Hong Kong Week' on 30 October 1967, a fashion show entitled 200 Years of Chinese Beauties was held on the same day at the Mandarin Hotel (now Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong) in Central; the cheongsam segment was the most eye-catching part of the show.
