Statue of Sir Thomas Jackson, Central District

The statue at the centre is Sir Thomas Jackson, the most eminent and long-serving chief manager of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in its early period. The bronze statue of Jackson still stands opposite the Bank's Des Voeux Road entrance, while the nearby street was named Jackson Road after him. Supreme Court can be seen in the background.
