Statue of Sir Thomas Jackson and City Hall, Central District

The statue at the centre is Sir Thomas Jackson, the most eminent and long-serving chief manager of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in its early period. The bronze statue of Jackson still stands opposite the Bank's Des Voeux Road entrance, while the nearby street was named Jackson Road after him. City Hall is on the right. The clock tower of the Star Ferry Pier can be seen on the left.
