The Tian Tan Buddha Statue at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island

Gazing serenely out to sea is the world's largest, seated, outdoor, bronze Buddha. The immense statue is situated on a hillside above the Po Lin Monastery on Hong Kong's Lantau Island.
