The Tian Tan Buddha Statue at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island

The world's largest, seated, outdoor, bronze Buddha gazes serenely out to sea. The Buddha is situated on a hillside above the Po Lin Monastery on Hong Kong's Lantau Island.
