Plover Cove Reservoir, Tai Po
The massive dam of Plover Cove Reservoir photographed from Tolo Harbour. Plover Cove was formerly part of Tolo Harbour but the dam was constructed, the sea water drained out and fresh water channelled in to form a reservoir, finding an answer to Hong Kong's perennial water shortage problem.
