Aerial view of Kowloon Walled City from Pak Hok Shan around 1910. The market outside the walls was generally called Kowloon Street, and for hundreds of years was a key commercial district on the Kowloon Peninsula. The two high-rise buildings in the picture were pawn shops, a common sight in the market.
