The Peninsula(2)

The Peninsula around 1926, beside which is The Young Men's Christian Association. The Peninsula is formally open in 1928, and upon completion (1926) was once commandeered by the British Army as a barracks. During the Japanese Occupation, the hotel was named East Asian Hotel.
