The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (aka The Shaolin 36th Chamber), released in Hong Kong on 2 February 1978, was directed by Lau Kar Leung and produced by Shaw Brothers (Hong Kong) Limited. The film won the Best Martial Arts Award at the 24th Asian Film Festival. Halfway through the trailer, Gordon Liu (as Liu Yu-te, aka San Te) clashes with enemies using staff, sansetsukon, etc. and wielding the crescent spade near the end.

Once Upon a Time in China II, released in Hong Kong on 16 April 1992, was directed by Tsui Hark and produced by Golden Harvest (H.K.) Limited. The film was awarded the Best Action Choreography at the 12th Hong Kong Film Awards and the Best Original Film Song at the 29th Golden Horse Awards. Around the middle of the trailer, Jet Li (as Wong Fei Hung) drives off a gang with an umbrella while in the later part of the trailer, Jet Li confronts the villains with staff and sword. This trailer is from the restored version of the film.
