Revised Manuscript of the New Edition of The Book and the Sword

When finalising the new edition of The Book and the Sword, Jin Yong deleted the part where Yu Yutong plays his flute in the background when Chen Jialuo and Zhang Zhaozhong fight each other in the ancient castle. Critics commented that Chen was deeply engaged in the fight with Zhang that he would not have been able to enjoy Yu’s performance, it was more rational to delete this scene.
