This qin is named Youran. It was made by the student of Choi Chang-sau, Sou Si-tai in 2006. This photo shows the front of Youran in Zhongni style.

Maker's Note The original idea for Youran was to make it like qins made in the Song Dynasty. The qin top board was made slightly flatter and thinner than that of the Xiaoyao. The bottom board maintains a rounded appearance. The surface lacquer was lightly polished.
