High-back chairs for TWGHs Board of Directors Meetings

Upon the rebuilding of the Tung Wah Hospital, the Yee Sang Tai Company presented Tung Wah a suite of furniture comprised of a conference table and high-back chairs to be used for future board meetings. Since 1934, this conference suite has furnished the Assembly Hall of the Tung Wah Hospital. On display here are three of the chairs. On the back of each can be seen the Chinese inscription: Tung Wah. The chairman's chair distinguished itself with a back that stands taller than the others. (TWGHs, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals)
