This is one of the most early-built factory estate in Hong Kong. It was built between 1960 and 1965. From 1973 onwards, it was managed by Hong Kong Housing Authority
During 1954 to 1957, Hong Kong government launced reclamation work in Kwun Tong's seafront. It created 140 acres new land which was divided by manufacturers for building new factories.
