Tung Tau Cottage Area
This is Pok Oi Village in Tung Tau Cottage Area. When Pok Oi Village was first built in 1950, there were 129 houses with a population of 930. Similar to many cottage areas, the village was built by some Christian voluntary organization. It was partly cleared in the early 1970s for the construction of Mei Tung Estate. The rest was finally demolished in the early 2000s to make way for public housing.

Pok Oi Village in Tung Tau Cottage Area can be accessed by paved stairs. The slope is covered and protected by cements.

Hing Wah Village in Chai Wan Cottage Area is situated in a rural hillside surrounded by dense vegetation.
Tung Tau Cottage Area right next to the street
Part of the Pok Oi Village in Tung Tau Cottage Area is located next to a main street. The Village can be accessed by public transportation.
Cottages built next to Nairn Road in Ho Man Tin
Nairn Road divides the cottage area in Ho Man Tin into two sides. Pui Ching Middle School can be seen on the upper right hand side of the photo.
