Wong Fei-hung's Battle with the Five Tigers in the Boxing Ring, released in Hong Kong on 1 June 1958, was directed by Wu Pang and produced by Yongxing Film Production Company. This is the first 'Wong Fei Hung' film produced by Kwan Tak Hing. The picture shows Kwan Tak Hing (as Wong Fei Hung on the right) and Siu Hon Sang (left) fighting with willow-leaf sabres.

Story of the Sword and the Sabre (Part One), released in Hong Kong on 15 May 1963, was directed by Cheung Ying and Choi Cheong and produced by Hoover Film Co. The film was spilt into two parts and was adapted from the novel The Heaven Sword and the Dragon Sabre by Jin Yong. The picture shows Pak Yin (as Yan So So at the centre) with the Dragon Slaying Sabre at hand and Sek Kin (as Tse Shun, the King of Gold Lion on front row, first right) holding a mace.
